Who we are

Players 1st ApS (CVR 34694222) runs this site and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us about your data at:

This policy covers players1st.com. It does not cover the Players 1st platform or the surveys golf clubs send through it. If you answered a survey from your club, the club decides how your answers are used, so ask the club first.

What we collect and why

When you visit the site

Data
Your IP address, browser and device type, the page you ask for, the page you came from, and the time of the request.
Purpose
To deliver the pages to you and to keep the site secure.
Legal basis
Our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Kept for
Our hosting provider deletes these logs within 30 days.

When you book a demo

Data
Your name and email address, your club or organisation, your answers to the scheduler's questions, the time you pick, and anything you write in the booking.
Purpose
To arrange and hold the demo, and to send you the price you asked for. We do not add you to a newsletter.
Legal basis
Steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
Kept for
24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer.

When you email us

You do not have to give us any personal data. Without your name and email address we cannot book a demo. We make no automated decisions about you and build no profiles.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our fonts are served from our own domain.

The scheduler on the book a demo page is provided by Calendly. When you open that page, your browser loads Calendly's code, which sends your IP address to Calendly and may set cookies needed to run the scheduler. Read Calendly's privacy notice for details.

Who we share it with

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the site and keeps its request logs.
  • Calendly LLC (United States) runs the demo scheduler and stores your booking.
  • Players 1st Limited (United Kingdom) and Players 1st, Inc. (United States) receive bookings routed to their sales teams.
  • The providers of our email and calendar services, which hold the booking and our correspondence with you.

Our service providers process the data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Transfers outside Europe

Some providers are in the United States. For those transfers we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses otherwise. Transfers to the United Kingdom are covered by the Commission's adequacy decision. Ask us for a copy of the safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have incorrect data corrected.
  • Have your data deleted.
  • Restrict how we use your data.
  • Receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another company.

Your right to object. Where we rely on our legitimate interest, you can object at any time, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.

Contact us at the address above. We answer within one month and do not charge for it. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Children

This site is for golf businesses. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

When we change how we use personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
